Robert Lucas is an imaginative, innovative artist who works in many media and has brightened the art scene on Bainbridge Island for more than two decades. Working with local school children he created the seat outside the entrance to the young people's library (downstairs from the adult library) using a variety of local found objects, including the shells of native marine animals.
