 Meeting Room Art Display

Revolving Exhibit

 

Linda Meier, a Friend of the Library Volunteer, is in charge of the revolving exhibit of art in the main meeting room of the Library.  The monthly exhibits are:  


February 2010   On exhibit in January:  POINT REYES, Works on paper, 2004-2008 by Terry Leness.  Bainbridge Island artist, Terry Leness, captures the quiet beauty and remoteness of West Marin County California in her jewel-like watercolor landscape and still life paintings and detailed graphite drawings.

 

Join us for a First Friday reception in the library meeting room. Free, refreshments served.

 March 2010 - Peg Deam  Friday, March 5  6 p.m.

"Kwee-ulk: From the Center,” a collection of tradition-based art work by Peg Deam.

"To see works of art is just the begining. To participate in the creation is the spirit". – Peg Deam

Join  us for a First Friday reception in the Library meeting room.  Meet the artist and learn about traditional Salish weaving. Weaving looms will be set-up for visitors to experiment with this traditional art form.
